Two cars alleged to be "racing". Up to 130, including from slip to two-lane carriageway of Norwich bypass, mid-afternoon on a weekday.
Both pleaded guilty to DWDC&A.
9pts each, plus £350/£500 fines plus costs etc sounds like a bit of a result - but it's the absolute maximum short of a ban, and just about the absolute max available.

Anyone who has been to Norwich knows that you drive like Hell to get out of or past the place ASAP.
Factoid: Most sensible cars have a "War Emergency Power" button hidden under the dash, for use on the bypasses at places such as Norwich, Basingstoke, Leicester, and Swindon; but mainly Billericay.

Mine has a Hull setting too. 155 on the M62. :-)Factoid: Most sensible cars have a "War Emergency Power" button hidden under the dash, for use on the bypasses at places such as Norwich, Basingstoke, Leicester, and Swindon; but mainly Billericay.
Also on the A47 in Norfolk, convictions overturned:

Interesting that the reason for non-disqualification was that the license was clean.
It was a long time ago, but I had to go to court for 115mph on a dual carriageway. The police bike that stopped me actually said I'd also been doing 89mph in a 60mph limit, but he would only charge me for one of the offences. Unfortunately, he did then say "didn't I book you for speeding on this road 3 months ago?". To which the answer was definitely yes, but I mumbled "maybe.....".
I already had 6 points when I attended court - 3 very recently as mentioned about and 3 from about 2 years before.
Was asked if I had any mitigating circumstances, but made no excuses and fully expected to be banned. The magistrates told me that they could ban me, then retired to "consider" for about 10 mins. When they came back, they told me off again - and added that I would be properly in trouble if they saw me again - but gave me 3 points and a £250 fine. I'm not sure the grin that spread across my face looked terribly contrite!

Your passenger should really shout, "All ahead flank" as you wind it up it. Factoid: Most sensible cars have a "War Emergency Power" button hidden under the dash, for use on the bypasses at places such as Norwich, Basingstoke, Leicester, and Swindon; but mainly Billericay.
