HI all,

I apologise in advance if this is a stipid question, and hope i'm missing something obvious.
So I recent got hold of a 1985 BMW 320i (auto) in good condition. However, looking at the rear wheels, i see the break line going (for lack of better description) inside the rotor housing, the break bleed nipple is sticking out aswell.

My question is. how do i get to the break caliper, if it's inside the rotor?

I have attempted to disassemble it, but it just seems different to what i'd usually expect. so would like to ask if anyone else has any advice?

Sounds like you have rear drum brakes. If so you need to back off the adjuster then remove the drum. I do not mean to be rude but perhaps may be worth paying someone with knowledge of how brakes work to do whatever you need doing.
