New breed current accounts with accounting app built in

Had a look at 'Counting Up' as I pay a High Street bank (LOL - high street - they closed them all!) a business account fee per month for seemingly not very much. I've also been averse to the 'pay forever' model for SaS accounts package which are just glorified spreadsheets really and with who knows what remaining access to your data should they cease trading. Also if you give the SaS boys your online banking pin for statement downloads the banks say you aren't fraud protected... Now if your bank was also your accountancy package provider it seems to get over that...

Does anyone have any experience or other options (Counting Up isnt fully operational yet) as I have to work to extract and port data from my statements to feed VAT and Accountant and this seems to blend 2 in 1 and at less cost than the big players' SAGE etc accounts softwares.
