Wheel refurbishment for complicated wheels
Discussion
Looking for some advice..Ive got some of these Speedline/Alfa wheels I want refurbishing, a local refurbishment place claims they are too complicated and its immediately put me off!
Although they look like split rims, they appear to be 1 peice lighweight alloys, the outer dish part is chromed with what (I think) is fake plastic hex screws. The middle teledial section is sprayed grey. I either want them all in a satin chrome, or same as they were originally. Does this sound feasible, will the hex screws which I beleive are plastic cause issues with getting them sanded down or dipped to be re-chromed?
The one in the pic is the best one, most of the others the crome is flaking off and laquer all gone.
