PH help: dealing with a possible tricky situation

Evening all,
Right,to the point.
I am wondering what to do. I am employing a really amazing guy and his daughter sort of has a thing for yours truly
She came out and told me yesterday and I was online reading PH forums while she sat there and was talking away.
Thing is, I have no interest whatsoever and was trying to concentrate on reading something in a thread. I could see her out of the corner of my eye getting all upset but I kept on reading hoping that it would all go away.
Bugger, it didn't. I told her I have no interest and she sort of started begging. I got a bit firm (but fair) and she ran off. I don't do the old "run after and make sure people are not crying" job so I left it and went to sleep.
Anyway, I just got a text telling me that if I care about her feelings I will stay away from her family etc, blah blah blah. Oooh, I wrote a scathing text back but thought about it and didn't send. Instead, I simply said that "nothing whatsoever will get in the way of my progress both in business and personally" between myself and her father.
Now, she put me in contact with me so I am sure she could try to balls it all up. What to do next?

I saw it coming but stupidly ignored it. Should have dealt with the problem before it was a problem. I am about to call the father now to make sure he understands my position.
Only thing is, he is doing a lot of unpaid work for me. This will result in him being paid very well and I have a feeling she will highlight this.

Similar situation a few years ago with a girl i was sharing a house with. Made the mistake of having a drunken grope and she decided this was a proposal of marriage. Had to do the complete bastard ignoring technique, eventually she decided she hated me which had the desired effect of keeping her off my back..
Tell your employee the situation and explain how it has nothing to do with your professional relationship. Make sure you keep him informed with the truth (well your version of it) otherwise things could get very difficult!

Well, just got back from taking the father to lunch. I apologised in advance for being blunt and told him that "I refuse to let anything get in the way of business". I explained "my version" of events and he completely understood. Top bloke.
