Classic camping (and behaviour!)
Discussion
Haven't been to either the 24hrs or The Classic for many years and was always with mates previously whereas I am considering taking my two lads (14 and 12) to this year's Classic.
Two questions mainly - can one just pitch up with a tent, find a spot to camp, buy tickets on the gate etc? Also are you allowed to BBQ?
Also, I think from memory the Classic is very much petrolheads without the d
heads. is this still the case? Don;t particularly want to be alongside the hooligans with my two sons!
Sad that I even have to ask the question really.
Cheers all,

There might be some tickets available 'on the gate' but it is worthwhile pre-buying them now.
The campsites are much quieter for the Classic, as it is only a couple of days so people just bring the basics (like they did to the 24hrs before it became an arms race of gazebos, sound systems and party tents). No issues with BBQing.
