Banned members who re-join

Is there any mechanism to get rid of them again? Particularly when they are at least as irritating and confrontational as they were pre-ban, with a very recognisable posting style. Some even go so far as to select a replacement login name which is clearly a p***take vs their previously-banned name.

Presumably you can in some cases make the link via IP addresses?

Just curious. Some of them really don't add anything and really haven't learnt from the previous ban.

Don't always come up trumps, BUT we have a good hit rate.
