Wildtrak or Amarok?
Discussion
Any Pickup owners here?
Looking at replacing our ML350 in the next few months with either a ford Wildtrak 3.2 or a VW Amarok V6.
Will be looking at leasing new through my company.
Just wondering what owners think of them as a daily driver and family car.
The Wildtrak looks very good value for money esp compared ot he VW but what are they like to live with, any issues to be aware of?

Just check if you're leasing that it comes under the HMRC rules for a pick-up i.e. payload of over a tonne.

Also the Wildtrack and all Amaroks have an unladen weight of > 2040kg, so are subject to lower speed limits on single and dual carriageways.
Also I don't believe that Amarok's have curtain airbags.
Personally I run a L200 which avoids all of these, and is great value to lease through the company.
