Road going production cars 1400-1800cc.

How come nobody uses the 1700cc ford puma in this class ?

It's worth a punt *but* a DC2 Integra is a 1.8 and 190 bhp.

As above.. and in some parts of the country, they allow Lotus Elises to run in that class. Game over!

So just purely not enough bhp then ?

The clio's seem to do ok on the really twisty courses down here in devon/cornwall.

Only 125bhp and a bit heavy.

And the clios will have at least 172bhp, are 2l and run in a different class (a3 in the south west). They won’t be competitive against 1.8 turbo opposition.
