Range Rover Classic suspension
Discussion
So.... I have an RRC that has had the self levelling strut removed (cant really find a replacement).
This has made the rear very soft on standard springs. Looking for replacement springs and dampers, all around. What should I use?
The RR is used mainly on road, and any off roading is on flat farmland etc. No towing etc.
So what do people recommend? 4 door, 1990 for reference.

First port of call -
What does the RR part book suggest for non-levelled suspension Range Rover rear springs (if available)?
As RRC is very close to Discovery One I'd also suggest looking at the parts for that too.
Reviewing the data available here (as many other websites with Land-Rover coil spring data):
http://www.red90.ca/rovers/springinfo.html
NRC8044 Disco Rear Driver side White/white
NRC8045Disco Rear Passenger side yellow/yellow

You are very unlikely to find a new self-leveller.
Often removed when they leak & cease to work.
Someone on LR4x4 tried to get one repaired by a Citroen suspension specialist & it looked promising but didn't work out.
Your best hope would be to try & find a good used one, but I suspect the price might be eyewatering.
I don't believe the sprung RRC was offered without it, have a look through this: http://new.lrcat.com/
As said, your choice would be to consider Police spec rears or look at the springs fitted to the Disco 1 as in the link by 100SRV
