Hello all.

I'm afraid my watch collection doesn't extend to some of the stunning pieces owned by some on here, however I do have a number of more obscure watches that I really like. I've been swapping straps between leather, NATO and Milanese on lots of them until I think I now have the collection how I want it with many different variants depending on my attire for the day (nice dress watch with leather for a suit, dive watch on a rubber strap for holiday, etc...)

I have been thinking of a metal rally strap for my last piece (a nice '70s inspired motorsport Chrono), but these seem to be few and far between. I don't really have a nice metal strapped watch (other than a couple of Milanese), and whilst an Oyster bracelet would look great on it, I can't get one that fits the case properly and don't really like the Oysters that have the flat end bars, hence me thinking about a metal rally strap.

Does anyone have one, and if so, what's your thoughts on it? Does it look right on your wrist? The only ones I seem to find for sale are these: https://www.watch-band-center.com/watchstrap-p2332...

Thoughts?

I have two of these (I think - branding is different, but look the same), purchased on Ebay for twenty-ish quid each.

Not fitted yet - partly haven't got around to it, partly because the feel is really disappointing. They feel much lighter and less substantial than they look. (I think the look is fabulous).

I'll weigh mine tonight when I get home and let you know. If these are heavier, thicker versions of what I have, I'll be interested too!

No, looks thicker metal than mine, which only weighs 20g and feels too insubstantial. Stretch feature potentially comfortable though.

Also bought the Russian strap In the picture for a couple of pounds, but ended up putting on yet another Ebay strap on my piece of loveable 60s kitsch.

I had it on a fine mesh Milanese today, but have flipped it onto a Bond NATO to see how I feel. Perplexing! I think the perforated leather you have yours on definitely suits it though!
