Well I will be achieving one of my buck list items this year as for my 60th birthday my wife and I will be attending 2018 Bonneville Speedweek.
We already have airline tickets and local accommodations but as we will be flying in we will have no opportunity to bring support items such as a pop up tent, lawn chairs etc. I am seeking info on groups or agencies that my offer a place to spectate from or at least get of the sun for awhile.
Any info will be much appreciated
Thanks in advance

When you get to the US, just find a local Walmart/Target/Dick’s Sporting Goods/Bass Pro, etc. and buy yourselves a couple of fold out chairs and a 10’x10’ folding canopy. You’ll be out the door for much less than $100 with everything you need to stay comfortable.

Give, or throw them away when you leave. Job jobbed!

Firstly, well done on making the trip. I will be racing there the whole week and you are more than welcome to come find us in the pits. We have an air conditioned trailer.

I would recommend you look at Southern California timing association web site. It has section for those people who are just coming to watch.

A few points....:-
1. Bring sun cream
2. Bring a hat....it gets up into the 130degree temp in the sun
3. Bring lots of water and vitamin drinks. Buy yourself a small cooler box. Ice can be brought at the local gas station.
4. The distances are huge. From the pits to the start line is a minimum of 1 mile. The rookie course is 3 miles away. You drive everywhere. Daily price is $20 to get in but they do a deal for the week.
5. Bring old trainers.
6. Depending on which airport you are flying into ..Las Vegas is 5 hours minimum and Salt Lake City is 2 hours drive.
7. Try to be there on the Friday...no racing but it is when all the cars and bikes get tech inspection. So let’s you get up close.
8. Racing starts 8am sat morning.
9. All record backup runs are made between 7am and 8am.
10. Message me your email address.
