Hi folks
I’d be really grateful for advice here. I have always loved Mercedes. I want one as my first car (maybe silly but my money and it’s what I want).

My question is – is it better to use the money I have saved to buy an older model (10-12 years old) or is it more economical to take on a loan even with my credit union for a much newer one (3 years old), which might ultimately last longer and cost less in service/maintenance as well as reducing the chances of upgrading for quite some time?

Cheers for now

Obviously Mercedes produce a wide range of different cars, some performance orientated and some with economy and practicality in mind, and plenty in between wink A bit more info will probably help get you better answers:

- How much have you saved, and how much extra could you realistically be able to borrow if you went down that route?
- What sort of mileage will you be doing?
- Do you want/need 4 doors, 4/5 seats or would you consider 2 seaters?
- What cars have you looked at already and like the idea of?
