There is something that you may want to think about before choosing one

If you only want to use the master switch for disconnecting the battery when the car is parked up or stored away you have plenty to choose from

If you may need to kill the electrics with the master switch while driving the car due to an electrical fire or a n other....your choice will be more limited. If switching off the electrics when driving you need to use a master switch that has 2 extra seperate sets of contacts to dump the alternator output to earth through a resistor (dump resistor) and also cut the supply to the ignition coil

Edited to make it clear that a master switch being used to cut the battery positive from a running engine does also need to cut the supply to the ignition coil as well as dump the alternator to earth through a resistor

It's a case of all or nothing unless a master switch is being used for a simple on/off when the vehicle is parked or stored away

Won't turning the engine off via the ignition key stop the alternator ?

As a simple on off switch this one will do the job nicely, it can handle 150 Amps continuous current draw and 1000 Amps for 5 seconds which should be plenty to fire the engine up

The rule of thumb is the bigger the better but the size of the things are often the deciding factor, this one will handle a 150 Amps output alternator 24/7

This 250 Amps one is the dogs but you might not like the look of it

If the car is on fire I would think that you aim to stop and get out, when stopped you could just stick it in gear and stall it.

I didn't word my post well, I meant that after you have turned off your isolator switch and stopped the car you could then stall it.

I've been using a Battery Brain for years, the 'gold model' with IR remotes.

The advantages over a traditional battery isolator switch are three fold:

1. Constantly monitors your battery automatically isolating it if the voltage falls below a certain limit, this way of you forget to turn your lights off you can always start the car

2. Using the Battery Brain IR fob you can isolate the battery remotely from meters away, and importantly after the car has been locked

3. Acts as a second line of defense against car theft

Durite are pretty good quality wise.
Does not specifically have to be marine but they seem to be better made.
