Just toying gently with an idea for a new project.

Is there therefore anyone here who would be interested in buying my R-GT2 (you know the spec, 996 GT2 Clubsport, Ruf Nardo engine with 630PS on the Ruf dyno, carbon bonnet/spoiler, Ruf bits, winner VMax 6&7 etc etc)

Guy, I am still enjoying your last one.....I am not quite ready for the Ruf yet

Your new project must be sensational to consider selling your R-Gt2.....I have to say it's a tricky one to price on mark to market basis.

There may be a certain Northern baron, who may be giving it some thought??

I'd have it if I had the cash.

Tricky one to value though.

What are thoughts for a new project Guy?

It's very difficult to price, as it's a one-off car.
Obviously only someone who wants the extreme performance it offers would be willing to pay the necessary premium above a stock GT2 to make it worth selling.

As a stock '01 GT2 Clubsport with about 20,000 miles, carbon interior and factory warranty it's worth about £68k IMHO. I've spent £43k with Ruf to turn it into a monster, so to re-create it with a similar 2nd hand GT2 would cost circa £110k. I'd be looking for less than that obviously............... although the car obviously cost me more than that.........

Eh?

What in the name of Bonnepart's balls are you looking at now, Sir Guy?

Word amongst the ferret community is that Rods will be churning out circa 650bhp later this year, in his Nardo S-engined 996tt and for that decisive bludgeon, might be selecting a 6th cog capable of carrying him beyond 220mph.

Or are you simply moving into the realm of the hyper car proper?

The dribble is spooling up...

Just toying with some ideas..........

I'd only progress if I could get what I think is decent money for the R-GT2, otherwise I'll be keeping it (which is the most likely outcome).

If you really must sell the car, place an advert on PH classifieds:
