What’s this insect?

Any insectophile know what this is. It’s approximately 30mm long and hasn’t moved for days

Some kind of Mayfly

Little hard to tell from the picture but it looks like a shed casing from aforementioned mayfly rather than an alive one.....might explain the lack of movement!

I’ve prodded it and it is indeed a shed skin, no insect there anymore
