E36 SMG to manual conversion

Hello today i started project to change my 1997 m3 to manual. I took gearbox out.

I'm just wondering can i remove whole smg hydraulit unit? my car is euro m3 and hydraulic unit looks like this

If I am right i wont remove smg control module, i just remove fuse 28 and disconnect instrument panel smg lcd?

It's not as difficult as that, that one refers to the American spec M3 which has a normal auto box.
