1.3 Vauxhall Astravan turbo lagging. Help!

Ok, so today my 1.3 diesel MK5 Astra van 58 plate has started acting up today.

The van starts first time with no hassle.
When in first gear and moving off, unless I’m revving the life out the van it starts looking like it’s about to stall.

Changing through gears the turbo won’t kick in until around 2.5 - 3k revs which has never been like this. It’s always been a decent runner and has a good burst in it.

I’ve been browsing online for answers and have been led to think it could be the egr valve or broken hoses?

Problem is I can’t locate the erg valve to clean it and I’m not wanting to shed more money on the van as I’ve already spent loads of money.

Any suggestions or where I can locate it so I can clean it out!?

Or which hoses to check ?

So why did you ask "Any suggestions or where I can locate it so I can clean it out!?" then?
