Hello all,
Reviewing our child seat situation.
Can anyone clarify if my daughter has to be on a child seat WITH back or can she just have a booster cushion? She is 125cm and 28kg in weight. As I understand it she can use just a cushion, but kean to know if any blues out there can lend first hand advice!

Just typed "Child safety seat" into Google and there is tons of information out there. I can't be bothered to copy and paste the relevant bits for you but would suggest that would be a good place to start looking.

Yep done that and got lost in a mindfield of EU legislation. Can’t see anything specifically about wether a back on the booster cushion is required by law..

Just booster seat is fine. Full seat with backrest is better.

Backless booster seat OK.

Look at Group 3 in the table, which corresponds to your child's weight. Booster seats are listed.

Backless booster is legal but for full safety a proper chair is better as it has side impact protection for body and head. After 135cm they don't need anything.
