I am toying with purchasing a cerbie.

I need to know length and width.
My garage is a tad tight for the Chim, but I really fancy a change.

no chnace i can increase the size of the garage, also performance wise will i notice that much of a diff
from my 500.

Width is not the issue - length (oooer missis) is the problem. The Cerb is about 4.25 metres long and my old Griff was lovely and snug in my garage but I now have to push my Cerb in, leaving only a finger depth at the front and back. You're better trying to get a friendly person to park one in there for you rather than using a tape measure.

I noticed a monstrous difference in performance against my two Griffs, one of which had quite a few tweaks too.

Are the doors on the cerb not a lot longer than the chim. Need to make sure you can open them wide enough to get in/out. I usually put my seat back to help with this in the garage and I'm just a little lad. Don't know about anyone else here.

Jessica, did the divorce come through then?

Performance wise, you wont notice 'that much' of a difference unless you're a foot to the floor in all-gears type with the gear changing skills of an F1 driver.... but none-the-less, more power and better acceleration all the way up into 170mph territory.

Length wise - she's long! Too long in my opinion...

I personally would say dont bother, the chim 500 is a brilliant ride, and you will surely miss the roof-down option....

Disagree re you wont notice the difference. The chim and cerb are so different in so many ways!
The V8 in the chimps is great in a lazy run out of breath fashion.
The cerbs engine feels like a race cars (not that I know what a race car feels like!).
The perf of the cerb is noticeably better than a Chimps. It will just pull and pull....
The cerbs handle better.
The cerb still looks drop dead gorgeous.
A chimp is one up from an MGB in looks.
The cerb will cost you an arm and a leg whereas the Chimp will cost you just one limb to run.
