Painting inner wings

My MX5 is currently on stands with the front bumper and wings removed for a bit of TLC.

The inner wing is in a good state behind the wheel arch liners, and I've cleaned away the grub and sorted out the few bits of surface rust with a wire brush and some Bilt Hamber hydrate.

What I'd like to do is paint the whole of the inner wing in something to help keep it in a decent state.

What's best - stonechip, hammerite, some sort of underseal?

Bilt Hamber again, not Hammerite. Have a look on their website for the most suitable product.
