Hi All

I'm off the Le Mans classic this weekend. I was taking my TR3 but the head gasket has chosen to go and although I've got the head off I can't fix it in time. The reason I was taking it is that my 21 year old son is insured to drive it.

So I will have to take the Tuscan. I'd like to get some short term insurance for my son but I'm drawing a blank. FJ who insure it now have a min 25 year old rule, and the other day insurers won't touch the car. Tried Adrian Flux but they have minimum 22 year old rules.

Anyone any experience?

Cheers

J

That may well be restricted to driving in the UK.

I don't think you can have two insurance policies on one car at the same time. So if you do find a carrier then you have to cancel your current policy.

You may find the main players in insurance might be the answer - Direct Line etc... Don't complain about the cost though biggrin
