After the birth of my little boy I’m finding it difficult to enjoy my home cinema. Obviously I’m not going to gain the same experience from a set of earphone but I’m keen to buy a set that at least make the experience better than the current set I have.

Don’t want to spend over £100.00 so what options do I have?

All options considered smile

I use Soundmagic E10 earphones which sound pretty good and block noise well. Cost about £35.

I'd buy proper headphones for home listening, as I don't particularly like earbuds.

Also a fan of the SoundMagic E10s.

I use mine daily on my commute so I get about 6-12 months of wear out of them before they're knackered - have tried various brands around the £30-50 mark and none as good as the E10s.

Also recommend getting some foam tips, much more comfortable and will block out more external noise than the standard silicone ones. I've had both Comply and InAirs - only difference I could tell was that InAirs are a hell of a lot cheaper.

Have you considered closed back over the ear headphones instead? will offer less noise leakage.

No leakage with memory foam-tipped in-ear phones.

Thank you all for the recommendations. I was about to click ‘order’ on the ones suggested but I got wind of a discount being offered on Sennheisers and ended up ordering a pair of in ears.

Very happy so far.
