Service for Vintage Omega Seamaster 300

Hello,

I'm looking for recommendations.

My 1968 Seamaster 300 needs a service/repair and I wondered if any of the good people on this forum could recommend a trusted independent service centre?

Ideally I'd like the following carried out;
Service / repair
Cleaning but not refurbishing the case or replacing any cosmetic parts
Valuation
Photographs of the movement, inside case-back etc.
Warranty

This is with a view to selling the watch (unfortunately, needs must).

Hi,
When it comes to Vintage Omega, the above recommendation is quite correct.
I was at Omega last year for co-axial training with the owner and one of his colleagues, so i can definitely vouch for their ability.

I am not sure that they will necessarily be able to tick all the boxes you require though.

Im a Level 3 Accredited Omega Watchmaker if you wanted someone to just have a look and give you an estimate

Might take longer if he’s busy, but probably a bit cheaper than STS.

Sorry to resurrect an oldish thread but my Omega Seamaster has suddenly stopped working. I’ve had it maybe 15 years and, to be honest, was getting a little peeved at the fairly regular and expensive servicing costs - so am I in for a financial drilling when I send it off for repair, or should I just take it in to my local Omega jeweller?

It is 37 years since my Omega speedy pro was serviced at Omega. It is in semi-retirement now but winds easily and
keeps good time.
I know we are a motor site so servicing is what we think of but is it necessary

Yeh 100% would imagine seals etc will have given up by now. quick shower and that watch could be knackered.
