Has anyone else found that the run of hot weather is causing something to evaporate off the vinyl dash top and condense on the windscreen?

Every time I leave mine in the sun for a few hours I come back to a misty windscreen, it's an almost an oily substance. I've cleaned the dash a few times now and it's still doing it.

Standard for the plasticizers in the vinyl covering/any dash top for the Olefins to evaporate out over time.

Problem is accentuated in hot conditions.

Never had a screen mist up so quickly before though. 3 hours and you can’t see out.

Had me confused until nawarne's explanation. I was getting this in the winter and it was traced to a broken air supply duct mounting in the firewall which I had fixed. When it reappeared in the last few weeks of hot weather I was thinking the original problem hadn't been cured. Now I know better.
