Judging by my browser history, I got automatically redirected here by what seems to be a rather scammy advert. Where do we complain about this sort of thing? I definitely didn't click anything.

Probably a dodgy advert served by one of the many "approved advertisers" or clickbait specialists like Taboola, that HM have sold out to in recent years.

No doubt if you do get a response from HM it will be along the lines of "sorry, it's a rogue advert that must have slipped through the checks of the company responsbible for managing ads" as that's been the response on here before.

Best thing to do, if you can, is to install a decent adblocker and you'll never have to worry about it again.

I wonder if the scammers could give them some kickbacks and maybe help pay to fix the repeated cookie approval notices and endless unwanted logouts.
