Crossfit trainers
Discussion
Im looking for some all-round trainers for the gym and it would appear that Crossfit ones might do what i want - i currently use a 2 shoe system, ie one for cardio then swap to some 3mm soled trainers for weight work.
However, i, looking for an all-rounder that can run, say a mile or so and not hurt yet i want something that im able to dead lift and squat in. Last time i had Inov-8 F-Lite 195, i managed to 'kill' the sole via dead lifting and so went to a 2 shoe system.
So does anyone have experience of the Crossfit trainers and can comment?

I wear Reebok Nano weaves. They are the most comfortable training shoe I've ever worn. I run, jump and occasionally Olympic lift in them.
If I am just doing heavy lifting I wear my Nike romaleos.

I was using normal gym type trainers and switched to the Nanos and it's much, much better.
I wouldn't really want to do much running in them, though.
New Balance Minimus MR00s were my go to ones for running and lifting. Still got an old pair now that I’ve literally ran thousands of miles in outside and on a treadmill and deadlift and squat in every week, it is obvious how many miles I’ve done by looking at the state of them.
I do have a pair of proper squat shoes as well which i sometimes wear, with the solid raised heel on a plastic block.
