F1 Silverstone VIP Pass??

Hi all

I have been given a 3 day "VIP" pass to the Silverstone Grand Prix this weekend....


I've looked everywhere but i'm not quite sure what this grants access to over the weekend? Any ideas?!

Not sure if it's cropped out but pretty sure it should have your photo on it too! Ours do and they're being super hot on it this year for some reason.

VIP is paddock and issuing team hospitality along with grandstand. You won't get access to the Pit lane or grid unless taken through by a team PR person.

Haha for a moment I thought i'd replied to myself?!

I did wonder about the photo - apparently we have been assured by those that gave them to us that it should be OK... we shall see!!!

What does Paddock entail..... unlimited champagne?

Paddock Club is free champagne, alas unless the other side of the pass says differently it looks like you are restricted to the paddock which is the area behind the garages and largely champagne free unless you can blag your way into a motor home.

However you should be able to get into the scheduled pit walks by going through the corridor between the FIA and F1 garages, just make sure you go back out the same way because the pit walk is generally for the paddock club only and they will try to shepard you that way which all gets very confusing if you try getting in with the wrong pass.
