I've been advised to come to this forum and ask for advise since you boys n girls seem to know your stuff. Looking at a 51 plate with only 15,000 miles on it. I believe services are done every 6000 miles at a cost between £500-700 and Major services looking at £1000+. Whats this I hear about Valve checking and Tappet allignment? Any Feedback on what to look out for will be much appreciated.

Cheers, Glen.

Hi Glen
You could be here all night, to much for a single finger typer to write My advice is to spend a couple of hours reading the FAQ`s then arrange to pop along to your next TVRCC local meet and talk to a few like minded enthusiasts, on a personal note had mine for over two years now and don`t regret it

Remember the days of E-type Jags and checking valve clearances? AFAIK same with the speed six.
