In the last hour, flew over the house from the south and looped round into Northolt, must have Trump's toys in...

I wondered what the hell that was - flew right over me this morning while I was outside. It was pretty big and quite unusual (only saw one).

Was this over Trowbridge? - Heard some large aircraft just as the football started, adsb exchange was blank when it finally loaded

Yes I'm in Hilperton, straight over the house just to the north of Keevil Airfield.

The C17s were bringing in the presidential HH60s, along with the 4x Ospreys bought over by the KC130...

I'm not looking forward to the Presidential visit. The news will just be full of anti-Trump whining social-media-whipped-up 'protestors' - for whom Trump isn't even their President.

It'd be interesting to know how much stuff comes across for a presidential visit. I read something a while back that when Libya kicked off Obama was in the middle of a tour of south america, and they sent 3 or 4 KC135s that were supporting his tour to Libya. If the president travels with multiple air to air refuellers, how many other aircraft does he have?

There are a few documentaries around on the presidential flight and I think there is something like 8 helicopters including Marine1 and its replicas plus green Blackwak Gunships. So different to what the Prime minister has here.

Saw 3 Ospreys leaving US ambassadors residence followed by 2 more 'ordinary' helis.

Met police were hanging around at a distance in a pair of helis, presumably for a look, but soon FO'd when the two other helis went after them!
Guess there may be something on the MPS helicopter twitter later?

Two Black Hawks (I think) have just flown over Henley On Thames with two dark blue/yellow helicopters accompanying them. Normally I'd say police helicopters but don't the RAF use a similar colour scheme?

Just got more interesting. 2 Ospreys, 2 Blackhawks in Marine 1 livery, plus a Wildcat. Landed just over the road and a third Osprey joined up with them on the way out. EC135 or similar bimbling around too, presumably the local police.

First time I've seen an Osprey flying, impressive beast, amazed how much control input and wobbling about was going on when landing.
