Right, I've decided to switch allegience and get a Porsche to replace my previous steed, the trusty TVR. Two questions for you guys:
1. 944 S2 Convertible or 968 Convertible?
2. Can you retrofit cruise control to these motors? I've been driving a Saab recently and find it invaluable for long journeys and avoiding Constable Gatso. I know the US market cars had it but not many UK cars advertised with it. Whats the story?

1. Chimaera 500 or Griffith 500 ?
2. Yes. They all have the wiring from the factory, wether they have the option or not, so you will "only" need to find a second hand unit and the commodo.

I can only assume that you owned a TVR from the Trevor Wilkinson days if you're considering one of these two cars to replace your TVR with

I would strongly suggest that you drive one first before parting with your money, just to confirm that you are happy with what they have to offer you....

It was an S2 so pretty similar performance wise. (Nicer exhaust note mind) I just fancied something a bit more sturdy, with a few more creature comforts. And that 3-part folding roof/targa thing is an enormous pain in the unmentionables!

OK Phil, it now makes sense - early Peter Wheeler, but more Trevor Wilkinson type car. If you'd come from a Griff/Chim etc you'd be disappointed with the relative performance comparison (you may still be, mind)
