Stuck Valve Caps

Hi
Thought I had better check tyre pressures now it is getting warmer. But the little blighters will not budge. Do not want to get to violent as don't want to rip valve out of rim. I have put grips and twisted but the valve twists with the cap? Any suggestions?

Grips on the valve and pliers on the cap.

If that doesnt get it off take it to a tyre place and get a new valve and balance.

You have checked that they're not the one with the little grub screws to stop the kids nicking them, if so they should come with a tiny screw driver type allen key.
