love these pizzas, the dough is really nice and sweet imo

I bought a pizza stone and tried to cook one on it but made a complete mess because the dough is so soft it's hard to put it on the stone without making a complete mess

has anyone here cooked one of these with a pizza stone with success?

I’d say this was akin to polishing a turd.

The best way I've found to cook pre-prepared pizzas is with the pizza mode in my Panasonic combi microwave. It gets them spot on every time.

If using a stone heat it up in the oven first, and sprinkle a bit of flour on it so the pizza slides on more easily.

Cook the pizza from frozen. Don't let it start to thaw, otherwise it will end badly as you've seen.

Flour would probably help, too.

The instructions on these pizzas will say to put it in the oven using hte cardboard tray provided. i realised this i did this once and it cooks perfectly. had nothing to clean up other than the knife I used to cut it up.

i also prefer to thaw my pizza out, if it's frozen the middle tends to be a little under done.

These are a disaster in the stone. A hot soggy collapsing mess.

Just put it on a tight rack.

turned out pretty well, cooked it from frozen on the stone, was crisp and evenly cooked all round. need to try it with some actual decent dough now !

Can't add anything regarding a pizza stone, but these are my fave frozen pizzas.

I don't mind these as the stuffed crust sauce is decent and they are usually on offer for £2.50.

I bought one of the frozen Pizza Express Artsana for £2 in the garage when I was rushing home to watch the football. Was blown away, put the fridge one to shame and actually tasted like the pizza I get from the local Italian for £8.

The only thing that will make a frozen pizza taste better is just throwing on lots of extra toppings and some beer.

I am not a snob, I do dabble in the frozen pizza but am realistic.

My top tip, rather than this for £1.50

https://www.tesco.com/groceries/en-GB/products/285...

where the photo is a complete lie, buy this for £1

https://www.tesco.com/groceries/en-GB/products/299...

as well as this for £1

https://www.tesco.com/groceries/en-GB/products/291...

That extra 50p will be well spent.

As long as you have enough beers .....

The Sainsburys Taste The difference Ham, Mushroom and Marscapone used to be one of the best supermarket pizzas about but sadly they seem to have stopped doing that flavour, and now their Taste the Difference pizzas are rectangular rather than circular so don't fit in my microwave* any more! Very annoying.

* Combi microwave, by far the best way to cook a supermarket pizza at home

agree the combi is best for frozen just use a ceramic dish or stone to avoid a soggy bottom. Although I bought a monster pizza from a fresh counter must have been 16in. Trying to look it in the combi was a right PITA

I maintain that the best pizzas are ASDA's deli counter ones where you can customize. super tasty plus if you're nice to lady behind the counter they'll shove tons of topping on it.
