Ripping CD to FLAC without gaps
Discussion
Have used WMP to rip a mix CD to FLAC files but when the car plays them it inserts a split second gap between tracks where they should play into each other with no gaps - its what I paid the DJ for after all!
I have tried EAC converter too after a Google but don't really know how to get that to make them gapless either having trawled its menus.
Anyone any advice please - the gap KILLS mix CD's! Thx

A while since I looked at this but I thought that gapless playback was down to whether the playback device supported it, in which case you're looking at changing your player or combining the tracks without gaps (in something like Audacity?)
Or just buy decent albums, then you wouldn't need compilations

Thanks guys - its aplayback thing really is it? Cant change the car for this
I'll rip it as a single track but then I'll have no track name info I guess? Less annoying than the 5 frame gap between tracks that should follow on seamlessly! I use Audacity already for voice overs already so may try that. Thanks
