F10 FM radio reception

Hi

Noticed that the FM reception in my f10 is really quite poor - i can make it all out but the quality is hissy and static-ey. Is there an antena I can look at and perhaps fiddle about with please?

The Antenna is in the rear windscreen.

Does it get better when you turn on the rear screen demist?
Or worse?

If so look at the tracks in the window for breaks, you can buy a metallic pen to fill any gaps.

Also, st window tint can cause issues.

One other thing to ask, got any chargers in the car, dash cam, phone charger etc.?

Cheap ones interfere badly with radio frequencies.
Belkin are normally made to a decent spec. that don't.

Good call on the charger.. I do have one plugged in permanently. Worth a try. Will check the traces on the screen too.
