Really weird knee injury.
Discussion
I do paving for a living and as such its pretty hard on the body, i have various aches and pains but this latest injury is really weird.
I knelt down on to my left knee (the knee i always kneel on when working) and i felt the most sharp pain i could imagine. It is like kneeling on the worlds sharpest piece of glass.
Walking about is fine, bending it, moving it is all fine, but the second i kneel on it i keel over in hideous pain. Almost instantly its gone.
You could say don't kneel on it, well i haven't been (because i can't) and as such my right knee started hurting because i am kneeling un naturally. started to develop a limp because of knee pain.
Theres no visible damage, there may be some slight swelling but definitely no visible injury.
Went to see a nurse at the doctors because couldn't get a doctors appointment for quite some time.
She basically looked at me like i had 3 heads and prescribed me naproxen. This hasn't helped at all, although it has helped with the tennis elbows i have, along with the pain in the right knee......
Googling it doesnt seem to help much, found a few people with similar but no answers.
Any ideas?

I've had that, no idea what it was and it went away eventually but God it hurt a the time.
Now get what I think is cartilage trouble when running, which I put down to running too much as well as too many hours kneeling on cold garage floors and wet paths fixing cars.
Along with the hair loss, hearing loss, short sightedness, dodgy ankle, tennis elbow, the best cure for me is a piece of lead behind the ear.....
