What is it with work colleagues’ guts after a weekend. Do they all live on prunes and curry?

9am Monday morning and already the bogs look like a dirty protest where someone has stood on the seat with a shower attachment up their arse.

Should be grateful I guess there’s not st ok the floor too.

Rant over.

I started a thread similar a few months back, I work at a site with contractors toilets in the compound.

Now when I use the toilets, it all goes in the bowl, and I manage to flush and wash my hands and put the paper towel in the bin without writing England is st or Gary sucks cocks all over the walls.

But not the working class, thick heathens that I have to share these faculties with, after break every single toilet will not be flushed, some just piss but others massive runny sts and a mountain on toilet paper, usually the paper ends up on the floor, piss on the seats and lots of hands unwashed before they eat?!

What is it with these people, they have to use these toilets so why can’t they leave them clean? They are all industrial cleaners too!

It’s fking disgusting and I can’t wait to be off this site in a few weeks.

Office workers have it easy

Not sure about that - some of the worst acts of porcelain desecration I’ve witnessed have been in very upmarket white collar environments

At least factory workers leave a grotty copy of the Sun for perusal.

The worst we had here was a nugget on the floor once. The floor is brown vinyl, and after sitting down the horror dawned on me that my foot had missed said nugget by about 25mm. Of course then I had the quandry of whether I clean it up or not. I did, but not without some retching, as I would not want to be the one accused of such heathenism by my colleagues had I left it. My mate in the office and I have our theories on who it was...

Trap one was full of bangers and mash when I went for my morning ablutions at 9:20 today.

My Monday morning dump is always a sizeable deposit but it makes sense really after a weekend of beer, takeaways, barbecues etc. then my two cups of coffee first thing in the morning when back in the office. The laxative effect of the caffeine releases a pound or two up built up excretia. I wouldn't dream of leaving any detritus behind for the next user to encounter though. What sort of animal does that?!

On one of the many other toilet deposit threads that have appeared over the years, none have turned my stomach more than some dude in the city who told of the "Friday pile-up" - a tradition of having a Thursday session, then various people dropping the kids off, without flushing in between, simply to ps off the cleaner.

Blimey! To think I get peeved with the peasants who use the traps for a slash, don't lift the seat, piss over it, and leave it. It seems I get off lightly compared to some.

A confident one. Seems to be worse depending on sector and location. Vegetarians (e.g in Cambridge) seem to have looser stools.

A flock of sparrows is the worst but how some people can manage to get blow back under the seat amazes me!

My work puts me in lots of different offices, and the differences can be surprising. Some clean and other not, their cleanliness doesn't correlate with upmarketness in anyway I can identify. The only possible correlation is the presence of signs which seems to make matters worse. I've used the loos in offices with signs on every door telling people to sink floaters, humours piss-taking, even serious threats of HR action and it made a no difference. I was in offices the last few weeks that had spotless toilets and no signs in sight. I just don't get it, it seems a little bit like broken window theory to me.

Work from home, so my toilet is the nearest one, which is outside our spare room. So it's mine - all mine!

Ok, I share it with the cats, who love to liberally spread litter all over the floor irked

Work in fairly small office with all decent people.. that is until they enter the toilets.
- Unflushed toilets
- poo smeared toilet bowls
- poo smeared toilet seats!?? (How?)
- Soiled tissue on the floor
- puddles of pee behind toilet (come on its a huge toilet. if your aim is that bad you need help.)
- Toilet brush holder full of pee. What/How??

I know most of these people to be normal/clean/friendly types. Why turn into a complete dirty slob when entering the toilet. How hard is it to pick up a used tissue that you have dropped?

Unbelievable.

I leave it as I find, it (or better) toilet brushes are minging but serve a purpose if accuracy is eluding me but I swear some folk have had an arse transplant from a Hippo replete with st flinging tail.

How anyone leaves poo all up the bowl and then walks away I dont know, if anyone who does that is reading this "YOU ARE A DISGUSTING PIG ! CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF" but they probably just scuttle back to their desk glad that the cleaner has to deal with it and not them, probably the same folk that drop litter, its just as bad.

And public toilets, even worse, writing your name in poo is mental illness, seek help.

The bog paper on the floor thing. I just don't get this at all. How does it end up there? Has it missed the 12" toilet entrance from a starting point only inches away or is it clean stuff that is the result of not being able to properly operate a toilet roll? Neither scenario seems plausible in my head.

With the tards at my place it’s fresh, it comes out of those stupid holders in single sheets and goes all over the shop apparently

I’m a travelling tech and lots of the places I go to are clean and no horror stories, one bacon factory I went to that had quite a high immigrant staff level and had squatting toilets wasn’t plesent

For my sins, I work in IT, and often have to share offices with our cousins and partners from the Indian subcontinent. That is truly an eye opener. The traps look like an explosion in a sewage facility, with urine, faeces and paper on the deck in the traps. Utterly revolting.

Probably mentioned this before in one of the many other bog threads...

Used to work in an office where every Monday morning, trap 2 would be utterly decimated by about 10am by one of the engineers - clearly identifiable by the fact they'd leave the bowl completely coated in ginger skids. Seriously, it was like someone skinned a ginger zebra and lined the toilet pan with their stripey markings.

Add to that, the smell would be horrendous - like stty, eggy biscuits.

The signs are probably put after facilities management has noticed the state of the loos...
