My e36 323i is sorely in need of new bushings. My lca rear ones gave up on me at snetterton yesterday so those nedd replacements asap. Im seeing 2 basic kinds, one being powerflex and the other being psb bushing. I read all sorts of reviews both positive and negative about powerflex but nothing on psb. It seems like psb has the better design too and is half the cost. Any one got a recommendation? I need something that will last under track abuse.

Not familiar with PSB but use Super Pro on my E36 racecar, also better design than Powerflex so they are maybe similar to PSB.

Curious due to both of your statements as to how they are a "better design"?

the psb ones look like they use a 3 piece design when the inner portion locks into the outer portion then a metal tube is slide in to go over the Lca. I would imagine the durometer of the pieces may be different as well since they show 2 different types/colours available. The powerflex ones have complaints about the inner plastic tube wearing poorly.
I'm waiting to hear back on my inquiries with psb. I fault them for not giving you any specifics online about the construction or make up of there products. you gotta kinda figure it out for yourself. of course they might be crap.

I am confused how you say the "inner plastic tube" wears on the powerflex bushes.

I had them on my previous 2 x e36s & don't remember an inner plastic bush & certainly never came across any wear.

Every year I used to drop every bush (both cars were fully poly-bushed) and inspect & grease them.

autocorrect got me. it's the inner poly bushing on the powerflex that I have read wear poorly. I've never seen either one in person so I can only go by reviews and that's just what some have said.
