Brown says Iraq war was for economic reasons

They've been lying for ages on every aspect of policy or actions taken, yet, for some unfathomable reason they are forgiven by the electorate.

Just imagine what could have been done if the hundreds of billions of taxpayers' money that we've spent on 'policing' the world instead go spent on this country. Imagine the transport network and services we'd have, not being a potential target for terrorists, lower taxes and therefore a higher standard of living.

What benefit have the people here seen from the Iraq War? We're a rich nation but we fare so badly when our living standards are compared to other European countries or North America.
