Auto trader have almost half a million cars for sale and that's where i go. For me E Bay is a great idea with too many flaws and loopholes. Gumtree is free if you don't try and sell too often.

Obviously if you are looking for rock solid guarantees then go to the dealer for the particular make and spend a fortune, otherwise do your homework, use some common sense and get a bargain.
