One of my favourite matchbox cars as a carpet crawling kid in the 70s. Think it’s still in the loft somewhere. Wish I had a real one though....

Fantastic cars.

I have a lasting memory of being in central Johannesburg on a quiet Sunday morning, and hearing one of these being driven hard through the city streets.

Fantastic sound!

Not me. That was a mid 1980s show and featured a naff McLaren M6GT style kit-car.

Indeed....don't get the connection with that show at all...?

As mentioned, a white one featured often in the sitcom Cuckoo Waltz with Lewis Collins in his pre-Bodie era.

I'm a little disappointed to see that GAV 1N doesn't exist according to Cazana and Regisearch.

Perhaps it was a fictitious registration for the programme?

With my anorak on, I can remember that before the Pantera, Lewis Collins's character had a Lotus Europa.

A guy up in the Bedfordshire area used a black one on tarmac rallies back in the early 80s .
I have a memory of it disappearing into a corn field on Cranfield aerodrome.

I remember it well...from my days spannering for various guys in my local motor club on single venue events.

He used to do sprints in it as well, and I competed against him once in my Sunbeam-Lotus, buggered if I can remember his name though.....?

Very fond memories of a past Le Mans Classic trip in our Tuscan with a good mate in his rather lovely Pantera cloud9

Pantera is a handsome beast, there's at least one with an LS engine fitted.
