Revenge - I want some NOW!

Right,
Bloody Mexico and the tealeaves that dwell within.
1. At a hotel
2. 4am I locked the door from the inside
3. 11am woke up to an open door and my phone and ipod missing
Heard the maid open the door in the morning but she excused herself and left. Now, she claims to the management that the door was locked when she arrived and says that she is closed the door when she left.
Door was open when I got up, phone + ipod missing.
Management promised to take care of everything. Called them up a few days later and then I got the following!!!!
"It is highly improbable that someone came in the room and took your things whilst you slept. We cannot be sure that you actually had the items in the room".
All this despite the speakers and ipod cables and phone charger and case sitting there.
Complete WANKERS. I want revenge as the hotel is at fault and offered me 1 night free stay to cover the £600 of stuff missing.
I need ideas because someone is going to pay for this one baby! I was thinking about something interesting for their website/emails etc.
Over to you.
FURIOUS!

Funny that. When I stayed in Italy I found, after my hotel room had been cleaned, someone had put 50 Euros-worth of notes in one of the drawers.
I was beginning to wonder whether I'd accidentally been given a Mafia hitman's suite. Still, no-one claimed it so it made some nice extra spending money.

Just post an honest account of your situation on as many travel webksites as possible (just cut & paste).
Sites such as www.tripadvisor.com don't appear to have any "naming/shaming policies", it would kinda defeat the object if they did really!
Millions of people DO read these and WILL be put off adverse comments from previous patrons.

Good idea.
It is not the theft (ok, that was annoying as I just got the phone) it is the way the group manager and hotel manager came to the room right away, saw and heard all the evidence and even called me to say they know who took the stuff but then accused me of lying about even having the items.
Things get stolen everywhere fair enough, but while you sleep due to the staff?
I need something stronger than a bad review.

A big earthquake with the strength of 8.1 on the Richter scale has hit
Mexico. Two million Mexicans have died and over a million are injured. The
country is totally ruined and the government doesn't know where to start
with providing help to rebuild.
The rest of the world is in shock. Canada is sending troops to help the
Mexican army control the riots. Saudi Arabia is sending oil. Other Latin
American countries are sending supplies. The European community is sending food and money.
The United States, not to be outdone, is sending two million replacement Mexicans.

50 euros? That's a cheap hit. Perhaps you could pass the details on to Mara
For a little gentle revenge gift, that will keep on giving, go to their website, and find a couple of unimportant email addresses, such as info, sales and reservations@xxx.
Now surf the web from an internet cafe that you paid cash for the hire of the machine, and spend a good half hour subscribing them to joke mailing lists.
The more the merrier, as they then have to get complicated on the filtering lists. Even better if the sites are linked to spamming types, who then pick up the addresses.
Doesnt make up for the loss of the goods, but insurance does that, and this is always a peculiarly satisfying revenge, as you KNOW its a major pain in the ar5e,rather than actively painful.
