Picked up a parking ticket at a railway station, appealed and somewhat unsurprisingly the company didn't side with me.

Now considering the POPLA route but there is a baffling amount of info out there, some if it contradictory.

Where's the best place at present for advice and possibly template appeal wording?

I'm not assured of my position as fundamentally I didn't park in a marked bay but I paid the correct parking fee, there was no obstruction or demonstrable loss of earning for the managing company. Additionally, most of the parked bays have lost all or most of their markings, so I took what I thought was a reasonable and pragmatic approach in full car park. Next time I'll not bother giving them any money and walk the last 10 mins to the station.

Thanks.

And MSE.

The OP has made a fundamental mistake by not asking for assistance [before submitting an appeal.
Lots of people end up torpedoing themselves as a result. Whether he has sunk his own vessel remains to be seen,

Wait for s11steve to check in here. He seems to spend his life beating these tts and appears to have a wealth of knowledge on the procedures and processes to do so.

You live and learn, had no idea there was so much industry out there supporting private parking charge claims. Will have another look at MSE, previously most of the info I'd found there was a couple of years old so pre parking eye v's beavis case.

If it's at a railway station then it might not be classed as a 'private' car park. Aren't railway stations subject to their own byelaws? So they have a different process than the private car parks.
