Depreciation is a factor so would prefer something that doesn't take a big hit, would also prefer a sub 5 second 0-60, and not too worried if it is a 2 or 4 seater?

Mustang GT, wouldn't be very old and be a lot of, they even hide the ford badges.

Good call, but not really my thing, plus my cousin had one and wasn't impressed with the build quality frown

Lotus Elise 220?

Not strictly a convertible but roof removal ability.

Rock solid depreciation imo.

Another good call, but I am afraid the problem is with myself, I have bigger pairs of underpants than the car itself smile

Good suggestion, the one thing I cannot get to terms with is their styling, they have an angular front end and curved rear, strikes me as a little cantankerous?

Aston Martin V8 Vantage or DB9 Volante
Audi RS5 Cabrio
Audi TTRS
BMW M6 Cabrio
Corvette C6
Chevy Camaro
Jaguar XKR
Porsche Boxster S
Porsche 911 Cabrio of any variety

You may get an Audi R8 Spyder but would probably need a budget creep.

A late E92 M3 CP cab, not depreciation proof but will retain a lot of its value.

Thanks for all the replies so far, would prefer the M4, I currently have an E46 M3 Cab, so it would be too similar to my current ride smile

Funny you say that, I was going to suggest a clean E46 M3 Cab but remembered they didn’t make them past 06!

LCI M4 CP with a decent spec won’t drop below 25 in the next 5-6 years I don’t think, or even 20, early E92 M3’s hovering around 15-20, 10 year old models. M4’s a fair bet

Good choice but that roof looks flimsy to be parked up in London frown

I’m glad I don’t have this dilemma!
There are so many great cars around for that money it’s almost impossible to choose.
The lotus Elise/exige range seem to be the ones that depreciate the least from what I’ve seen.

Great looking car, unfortunately as a daily in London, it would probably be too big and the plus 100mph acceleration would be totally unused smile

Its limited to 155mph like all the others listed plus hardly anyone driver their cars on U.K. roads at over 100mph or if they do not very often as chance is really low and then get caught/lose job, ban could be a week but could be months to a year, the fine is also crippling.
