Albeit a big one - https://www.flightradar24.com/data/aircraft/d-awbb - surely this isn't still configured as a corp jet inside?

PrivatAir used to have all "business" class BBJs seating 40 or 50 so maybe chartered for some purpose or another?

It's being leased to cover a shortage out of Gatwick (and lack of availability from Eastern Airways leasing).

Here is the seat map -

The business seating certainly beats BA Club Europe.... smile

Thanks - looks like some lucky folk got a surprisingly comfortable trip to Ibiza this morning then.

I’ve seen it reported that they’ve switched off the seat controls and IFE the miserable sods.

BA are begging, stealing and borrowing every plane they can to fill the monarch slots they bought when monarch went bust. It’s my understanding that they’ve got to use a certain percentage or they’ll lose them all.

I see they appear to have 2 Qatar Airways A330s on loan as well - in the past they've borrowed loads of Qatari A320s when they've been short of short-haul planes, not an option this time?
The thing that's surprised me though is that I read somewhere that they've withdrawn 2 767s in the last couple of weeks - would have thought keeping them going would have made more sense, unless they're due some major maintenance?

I flew back from Munich recently on a BA flight... except it was a Qatar Airways plane, with associated Qatar Hostesses etc.. It was very pleasant all round.
