Up at Heritage Bicester this Sunday, looks like it could be a good event: https://luftgekuhlt.com/luftgb

I have bought a ticket, but likely to be going in my (water cooled) van rather than my (water cooled) porker as the car is making some unhealthy noises.

Anyone else going?

There’s a Porsche car park outside for us kettle owners. As long as it’s not raining too hard I’m going, really looking forward to it

i am going with a mate in my air cooled car and after its had a long time in hibernation - i think i remember that the rear screen rubbers have perished. in fact brought the car to work today and after today's downpour i am sure that will be confirmed....anyway a bit of rain will make the cars more fun to drive....

Part of the fun of these get togethers for me is the drive up there. I'm travelling from Berkshire and am planning to go A and B roads. If I do it right, my car will be so filthy by the time I get there, they won't even recognise it as a Porsche hehe

Nice photo's thumbup

Here's a couple I took.

And the man himself, Mr Patrick Long. I'm not sure how many people actually recognised him.

Porsche factory driver and co-founder of luftgekühlt. Standing out in the rain and directing the cars so we can all enjoy them clap

Great pictures - the venue does make a fantastic backdrop. You all either got there early or were very patient waiting for people to go out of shot!

I was there around 8:30 in the queue to get in.

I was really amused by this bloke who was trying to take a photo of a car and this other bloke just kept walking into his shot, apologising, then walking into his shot again. The cameraman gave up with a huff biggrin

Didn't go and gutted I didn't get my life sorted out to do so. Given it's less than an hour from home I really have no excuse! Definitely going next year. Thanks everyone for posting pics, so many stunning cars.

911 R your friends 1965 car is stunning.

It's very hard to put this car into perspective some times.
