I managed to get stung by a jellyfish out in Majorca a week ago. The fker got me just as i was getting out of the sea!

7 days later and my arm is showing no signs of recovering, it is still quite painfull, and raised.

Ive tried Vinegar, bit didnt do anything.

Do these take a while to recover?

BTW it was litterly the most painfull feeling in the world for a few hours, and couldnt feel my arm. (Bottle of whisky helped smile )

Do i need to do something else to it, or will it slowly recover?

Who has been bitten?

Put hydrocortisone on it, and keep it out of the sun.

You can get HC from a pharmacist, if you see a doctor betnovate would be better but is POM.

I’m in the sea fairly regularly and have had a few of these.

Ignore all the vinegar and peeing on it...

Antihistamines work best, for me. Get some down you as quickly as you can.

Drench the area in plenty of hot water (get under a hot shower) to destroy any remaining stinger cells and inactivate the venom. Do that as soon as possible.....so drive home quickly going ow, ow,ow!

Apply antihistamine cream.

Often the marks reappear a week or so later.
