Seat Leon FR 2014 LED After Market
Discussion
I’m no expert but off the top of my head,
Even if they are a straight swap physically, I’m sure they will have different electrical plugs. So you’d need to fit a different wiring loom. Is it plug and play or will you need to start hacking looms about?
The LED headlamp units retail at £8-900 each I’m told. They are advertised on ebay for half that 2nd hand usually with broken lugs.
The LED headlamps have a self levelling mechanism. What this consists of I’m not sure. Additional sensors at the front and rear of the car ?
Then if you get all the parts fitted you’ll need to recode modules on the car. VCDS? Without the recode I expect you’ll get various warnings or the new led headlights won’t work.
