I'm close to pressing the button in one of these.

9000 miles, recaros etc.

Anyone had one and can comment what they're like to live with? Are they good when the novelty wears off?

Will I have all sorts trying to wind me up on the roads? I'm almost 40!

I had a 2015 model for 2 years. Good car, I had no issues with mine other than problems with corroding alloys which were replaced under warranty just before I sold it. Plenty of toys and gran seats (although my wife didn't agree), the nav system was a little slow at times though.

I averaged 46mpg in mixed use.

I have no idea what sort of deal you have lined up but I would recommend pricing a new one via one of the respected brokers, i got a fortune off mine and it could be possible a new one is cheaper or very little more to buy!

Thanks for that. Any recommendations for a broker?

I love the MPG figures and believe none of them. Motorpoint bloke pointed to the "60.5 MPG" and nodded

We drive ours quite briskly and it’s nailed at 47mpg.

Reactor seats are set a bit high, and are hard. Not the most comfortable when your a big lad.

Other than that, lovely motor. It’s very quiet and you’ll look down at the speedo and be shocked d that your doing 90 as it feels like it’s barely moving.

As others have said price a new one - new model Focus is now available and old stock needs shifted before September so could be some good deals to be had on anything in stock!

I had a Focus ST 250 for about 12 months, so not the petrol model but basically the same car.

I liked the car for the daily commute, comfortable, plenty toys, etc. But it could not handle its power and it didn't really have that much to start with.

It would spin the wheels up very easily if you pushed it and as for powering out of a corner, nah... forget it. Could have been down to the useless PS3 tyres but they were still over 4mm when I decided to get rid of the car.

They're a very good car there are some cracking deals to be had as they're having to move a bit of stock at the moment so go for it you won't regret it.

I used drive the deal, from memory I got about 7k off list price of mine. The local ford dealer wouldn't knock a penny off!
