Seiko Monster started running fast
Discussion
As per title, my trusty old Seiko Monster (7S26 movement) has started running about 1 minute fast each day.
I don't know if this is related to the hot weather we have been having or something.
Is there anything that can be done to get it keeping good time again? If this involves a refurb/rebuild, roughly how much would this cost?

You coukd whip the back off and try and adjust it.
Its fairly simple but BE CAREFUL. My Gen 1 Monster lay in a drawer unused for about 4 years before I took the back off and fixed it (the spinning weight had come undone) once it was back together it ran a little fast so I looked at videos on YouTube to see how to slow it down.
There a little 'lever' with a + and - on it but it only needs moving a tiny tiny amount.
Might be worth it before sending it for a service.
Apologies for the lack of technical jargon, I'm no horologist!
